Alarm Bells 03:35
Are you blue do you feel that it’s helpless, is the weight of the world too much Do you remember the days when we played now, Can you focus on my face Make sure that you concentrate hard enough; I don’t want to feel that I’ve lost you You and I lying on the pavement, Making faces till the sirens come. We’re hit and we’re going down, it’s mayday, what a bad day Spinning round and out of control, Keep calm now, don’t run out Of wise words to calm us down, I’m fearful, it’s not near now It’s not as bad as you think it is, if you still pray, please pray now. Still remember the smell of the wet leaves, rainwater soaking through our clothes It’s really easy to forget bad details, really hard to remember your face (Chorus) Make sure that you look both ways now that we don’t come to any harm I’m glad that we all came through this, with scars to keep us safe. We’re hit and we’re going down, it’s mayday, what a bad day Spinning round and out of control, Keep calm now, don’t run out Of wise words to calm us down, I’m fearful, it’s not near now It’s not as bad as you think it is, if you still pray, please pray now. You and I lying on the pavement, Chalk outlines in our minds It’s not as bad as we think it is, Please trust me don’t trust him Our voices in the back of our minds, it’s echoes they’re not real Make sense of a really strange dream, please wake up, please.....

Thought I should talk today, can’t find what I wanted to say It’s a shame I thought I was getting better Could happen tomorrow or soon seems pointless to count the suns or the moons Take a break there’s no need to be breaking the mood. The sweat beads your brow; you’re worried sick for me now I’d tell you to take it easy; I’d ask to make it easy on yourself I’d make a point to say, the things that were bothering me An attempt at diplomacy, never worked before for me You made my stomach tight, my palms sweaty and my mouth all dry Should of stayed with the Christians man, all the reading and the songs they sang I will dry your eyes; put my shoulder where you can cry I have set my mind, you can’t mend my ways Keep hearing from people I knew, Well wisher and the chosen few Makes me happy that I’m still alive, I need to change, I need change.

I seem to hit all the black keys, and I’m often out of tune but minor seems to suit me All these things are covered in dust, I never meant to be sad but time and this chose me Your own voice asking you to stay, not once repeatedly each day Can’t think of a single thing that I’ve done since. I’ve always come across badly, when I talk to you. Writing seems so sentimental. And when our eyes they finally meet, I get the feeling you, never really knew. And when I listen to music, it always sounds so strange. It never sounds the same. When my pen finally meets the page my thoughts all run away. My pen just blobs and says...
